Barolo is not the only region in Piedmont where the Nebbiolo grape luxuriates. Winemakers in northern Boca cultivate a Nebbiolo that is more energetic and spicy due to the cooler climate. The addition of the local Vespolina grape gives this wine even more elegance. This wine has good balance, with notes of dark fruit (blueberry), light spiciness, finesse and a long finish. This wine ages as well as its more famous southern counterpart and can aged for 10 to 20 years.

Spontaneous fermentation and maceration in open steel tanks and wood casks up to 40 days. Skins are pushed down once a day by hand. Aging on oak barrels for 3 to 4 years. 6 months of further ripening in the bottle. Unfiltered and unfined.
