An ode to the original owner of the Le Piane lands and, more importantly, to the man who single-handedly planted the age-old vines. The current owners are continuing the legacy of this man, who almost saw its demise when Boca had lost its traction as a wine region. The region is making a comeback with Le Piane. This velvety, energetic, and layered Nebbiolo is testament to that.

Grapes picked from the oldest vines in the vineyard. Spontaneous fermentation and maceration in open steel tanks and wood casks up to 40 days. Skins are pushed down once a day by hand. Aging on oak barrels for 5 years. 6 months of further ripening in the bottle. Unfiltered and unfined.
