Who are we?
We are a Dutch wine importer, national distributor, and retailer based in Amsterdam—and we do just about everything. We write the best books on wine and outdoor cooking, and every day we make sure our shop in Amsterdam is stocked with the finest wines from all over Europe. Since 1986, we’ve been working directly with small family-run wineries across Europe, building a fantastic, vibrant community of wine lovers who also enjoy the outdoors.

Who are we looking for?
Do you enjoy enthusiastically telling our customers about Europe’s best bottles of wine? Do you like rolling up your sleeves and switching easily between different tasks?

Then this versatile role is perfect for you.

Who are you?

• You take initiative and are proactive

• You enjoy taking responsibility

• You like selling

• You have basic wine knowledge (hospitality experience or a wine qualification such as WSET 2/3)

• You want to learn more about wine

• You enjoy building relationships with our customers

• You think in solutions rather than problems

• You are available 12–16 hours per week on Fridays and Saturdays

• You are social media savvy

• You like playing an active role in sales-support activities such as organizing tastings and events

• You don’t mind delivering orders with our electric cargo bike or processing incoming stock—in other words, you’re happy to get hands-on when needed

• You have good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written
