De Wijnwinkel X Toscanini Deli: Italian Holiday Gift Box

We have some great news for you! For this year’s Holiday Gift Box we have come up with an exciting collaboration with our friends at the Toscanini Deli. Get ready to order these gift boxes in time to give your loved ones, co-workers or other friendly relations something really special this year!

To keep things simple, we offer you three options. Besides an amazing fixed selection of artisanal (vegetarian or meat-based) Italian foods from Toscanini, you can choose between a package deal of 1, 2 or 3 bottles of Italian wine. Basta!

To find out more about the contents of each of our Italian Holiday Gift Boxes, please see the information below. Orders can be placed no later than 17 December. These boxes can be picked up or will be delivered to your home during the week of 16th and 22nd December.

Three bold and beautiful wines. A line-up worthy of a Christmas evening. This Gift Box couldn’t be complete without a bottle of Chianti Classico, renowned for its strong fruity character and a round, smoky edge due to the use of oak. In terms of white wine, we offer a refreshing yet round and distinctive Vermentino Bianco from the border region between Tuscany and Liguria. And last but not definitely least, a red wine with status from a region a little further up in Italy: Barolo.

Toscanini’s selection of Italian delicacies includes a number of artisan products that will come in handy during the festive season. Say you want to make a cosy meal but are short of time or need a creative addition to your selection of starters. This gift box is at your service!
Here is some more info on the Italian Delicacies that will be included in the Gift Box.
Vegetarian
  • Leonardo’s ⁠Arrabbiata Pasta Sauce, a homemade, readymade sauce made by the renown chef of Toscanini, Leonardo Pacenti. The originally Roman dish refers to the Italian word for ‘angry’, referring to its spicy character.
  • Mancini Pasta Fusilli, the base of every serious Pasta Arrabbiata. ‘Mancini Pastificio Agricolo’ is one of the best dried pasta manufacturers worldwide. With their products principally bronze-pressed and slow-dried.
  • Pecorino Romano, the traditional cheese that is needed to finish off the Pasta Arrabbiata.
  • Gran Pavesi Le Sfoglie Classiche, some crackers to snack on!
  • Agliata, a homemade tapenade made from sundried tomato, red wine vinegar, capers, parsley and garlic.
Omnivore
