Fun fact. 'Curtimenta' is Portuguese for skin contact. This wine is distinctly 'curtimenta', with maceration of no less than 4 months. This gives the wine a beautiful colour and structure. In other words, this wine has nothing to do with the 'green' wines Vinho Verde is known for. This is a serious wine with length.
