One very typical thing about this winemaker is the graceful way he grows his vines. Some grow irregularly, like small trees, and Filippo is perfectly fine with that. This wine is produced from such 'untamed' vines, in the southernmost part of the vineyard. A riper style than its counterpart, Anjo, tasting of ripe stone fruit, but with same saline finish which betrays its proximity to the Atlantic Ocean.
